Sarateni lies at west from Sovata, along the Târnava Mica river, in a valley, among mountains and hills covered by forests.
It lies at 56 km from the county town Târgu Mures, at 4 km from Sovata, and at 47 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc.

The Ági pension is in the centre of the settlement, near the creek, in a pleasant ambience.
