Sighisoara lies at the southern extremity of Mures County, in the Târnavelor platform and it lies along the Târnava Mare river.
It is one of the towns that preserves the military, civil and ecclesiastical architecture of european value.
Sighisoara zone, by its position, belongs to the moderate continental climate, presenting some particularities of the hilly regions.

The "Casa Saseasca" Pension is situated in the centre of the medieval castle from Sighisoara.
The Pension has nine well equipped rooms with private bathrooms.
The manually painted wooden furniture gives an individual look for the rooms.
The terrace from the shade of the old pear tree is an oasis of peace and calmness in the middle of the castle.

  • Memorial house of the publicist N. D. Cocea; Venetian house built in the XVI century;
  • School on the Hill that functions from 1552. There learned among other personalities the savant Hermann Oberth, the father of the astronautics.
