The Rodnei Mountains are the highest in the zone of the Eastern Carpathians (Pietrosul peak - 2303 m and Ineu Peak- 2279 m).
The Rodnei mountains conserves erosive platforms and glaciers; in south-east it continues with the Suhard Mountains (1932 m - Omu peak)
Due to the position, altitude and western circulation in the northern extremity, there registered the highest precipitations - (over 1300 mm).
There can be find sub alpine and alpine vegetation.

The Suzy guest house is situated in a height of 720 m, near the Minei creek, that intensificates the magic of the place.
