The village lies where the Szalon creek flows in the Nyiko river, at a height of 490-525 m above sea-level, at 14 km from Cristuru Secuiesc.
The Obelisk raised in the memory of the martyrs of Mihaileni is in the Gyarmati-garden at the place called Hármashalom.
The Ugron castle, that belonged once to Ugron János, is at the right side of the road not far from the village.

The Aranyalma Pension offers accommodation for 42 persons.
The Aranyalma pension is situated near the ski-course, thus is an ideal place for those tourists, who would like to practice winter-sports.
The Restaurant with 45 seats is wellknown and frequented due to gastronomic specialities and terrace.
