Gheorgheni lies in Harghita County, in the eastern part of the Giurgeului Basin, in a height of 810 m above sea-level.
The Liberty Square with the statue of Saint Nicholas, is one of the most beautiful landscaped central squares in Transylvania.

The "László" Pension is in the centre of Gheorgheni town.
