Coltau (Koltó) lies between the Sylvanian Hills along the Lapus River, in a picturesque landscape, and a wonderful prospect over the peaks of the Maramures Mountains covered by snow.
The village, after the Hungarian War of Independence became the property of the Teleki family.
There are two castles in the village, that belonged to the Teleki family. The renowned poet Petőfi and his wife spent their honeymoon in the Teleki castle, which nowadays functions as Museum.

The Virag (Flower) pension disposes of 5 rooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 dining rooms and 2 balconies.
We organize excursions to the different zones of Maramures County.
In the landscaped yard can be parked your car.
